With our endless curiosity, it is our mission to create unique swimwear that tells a story and that is crafted with the finest eco-friendly fabrics while contributing to a cleaner Ocean and a more sustainable future for the generations to come. 

Our Story 

The idea of Sober & Naked was born in 2015 during a rainy day in London. Working in a successful 9-to-5 job, yet day dreaming about surfing and crystal clear waters, I was craving to disconnect from my daily routine, letting my mind drift away to the most beautiful places in the world and connecting with my free, active and rebellious soul. As if in a dream, by the end of 2015, I had left my job and was on a plane to Asia, embarking on the most beautiful and inspiring journey of my life so far - I couldn’t wait to surf the waves of Bali.

During my amazing and eye-opening journey meeting new and fascinating people, indulging in delicious local Thai food and relaxing on Vietnam’s stunning beaches, I was horrified at how the unique magic of some of the most beautiful places in the world was being harmed by pollution, especially ocean waste. After surfing waves covered in plastic and encountering river banks where I could barely see through the layers of garbage, I decided that my next endeavour had to contribute to addressing these challenges. So in 2017, Sober & Naked's first collection, Raw Tropics, was born with the belief that it is possible to create eye-catching swimwear for the rebellious and active souls without harming our oceans.

Fly Black Bird is a brand of surfboards based on the creation of unique boards, designed, painted and built by hand where there will never be two alike. Following the motto "The Past Shapes the Future", the creative direction of this brand has foundations in the past, with eyes pointed to the future. The ECONYL® Regeneration System is an innovative industrial regeneration system based on sustainable chemistry that cleans our world from ghost fishing nets and other pre- and post-consumer waste to create 100% regenerated nylon yarn that is then used to produce some of our most amazing pieces.
